A small town originally fortified with many remains to evoke the past.

Ruins of a feudal mound, former keep from the 12th century, symbol of the power of the old Gallo-Roman villa.

The church with an 11th-century chancel also contains a splendid 800-kilo bell from 1729.

The Priory: built in the 15 th and 16 th centuries on the ruins of a former abbey. There is a tower with stairway and a doorway with an arch.

The press house, a sort of barn with one central area and tunnel vault door dating from the 13th century. It served for a long time as a shelter for livestock during flooding of the farms on the Loire banks.

The fountain in the small locality of « Moulin d’en Bas »: this fountain was a favourite spot for the washerwomen during the winter months as the water temperature remained tepid (4°C) and there was a regular flow. Next to the fountain and the washing-place there used to be a small hut housing a Berry-style (in wood and stone), now to be found in the church.

A standing stone, 1m85 high, dating from the neolithic age, at a locality known as “Les Pierres Longues”.
