A stretch of woodland, fields and meadows, Saint Martin-sur-Ocre inspires peace and quiet. It is a welcoming village blooming with flowers.
In the late 9th century, the relics of Saint-Martin were deposited, in church, some time by the monks to Auxerre and fleeing the Norman invasions.
Prehistoric remains dating back over 100 000 years were found here as well as some traces of Gallo-Roman existence.
